- Using DRB-II, read fault messages. If DRB-II is showing a blank message screen, go to TEST 18A . If DRB-II is displaying NO RESPONSE message, go to TEST 17A . If no fault messages are present, turn ignition off and on. Using DRB-II, read fault messages. Monitor the display for 4 minutes. If no fault messages are present, Perform VER-1A . If fault messages are present, go to next step.
- In some cases, cause of one fault message may set additional fault messages. If multiple fault messages appear on DRB-II, fault repairs must be performed in the order they appear in the FAULT MESSAGES table. If only one fault is set, perform indicated test for that fault message.
