- Using DRB-II, actuate ABS relay. If ANTI-LOCK light on instrument panel switches on and off, go to TEST 16CΒ . If ANTI-LOCK light on instrument panel does not switch on and off, go to next step.
- Remove the ABS relay. See Figure . Using an external ohmmeter, check resistance between ABS relay terminals No. 30 and 87. See Figure . If resistance is less than 10,000 ohms, replace ABS relay. Perform VER-1AΒ . If resistance is more than 10,000 ohms, go to next step.
- Put DRB-II in voltmeter mode. Using DRB-II, check voltage on Red/Light Blue wire at ABS relay connector. If reading is more than one volt, go to TEST 16BΒ . If voltage is less than one volt, go to next step.
- Turn ignition off. Disconnect CAB 60-pin connector. Using DRB-II, check voltage on Red/Light Blue wire at ABS relay connector. If any voltage is present, repair short to power in Red/Light Blue wire. Perform VER-1AΒ . If voltage does not exist, replace CAB. Perform VER-1AΒ .
