Front Suspension: Cradle: Installation
- Install the cradle to the vehicle body.
- Raise the cradle with the transmission jack.CAUTION: The cradle is heavy. Raise it carefully by paying attention to the balance.
- Install the bolt to the front cushion rubber and the bolt to the front of the cradle.
Tightening torque:

- Install the left and right bolts and nuts.
Tightening torque:

- Raise the cradle with the transmission jack.
- Remove the shackle and sling belt.
- Install the tie-rod end.
Tightening torque:
Steering gearbox-related parts: < Ref. to STEERING GEARBOX , COMPONENT, General Description. >
- Install the front arm.
Tightening torque:
Front suspension-related parts: < Ref. to COMPONENT , General Description. >
- Install the stabilizer link rod. < Ref. to INSTALLATION , Front Stabilizer. >
- Install the front exhaust pipe.
- H4 model: < Ref. to INSTALLATION , Front Exhaust Pipe. >
- H6 model: < Ref. to INSTALLATION , Front Exhaust Pipe. >
- Install the power steering connector.
- Install the nuts connecting the main mount and the transmission mounting bracket.
Tightening torque:
Front suspension-related parts: < Ref. to COMPONENT , General Description. >
- Remove the ST, chain sling and shackle.
- Remove the ST for the engine hanger from the engine front side. (H4 model)
- Replace the ST with the engine hanger attached to the engine. (H6 model)
- Change the hood stay location to support the front hood at ordinary position.
- Install the air intake boot assembly.

- Install the air intake duct. < Ref. to INSTALLATION , Air Intake Duct. >
- Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. < Ref. to BATTERY , NOTE, Repair Contents. >
- Install the universal joint assembly - steering. < Ref. to
INSTALLATION
, Universal Joint. >CAUTION:
- Always tighten the cradle and engine mounting before tightening the universal joint assembly - steering.
- Always install the universal joint assembly - steering after installing the steering column to avoid damage to the universal joint assembly - steering.
- Be sure to follow the tightening order and tightening torque of the universal joint assembly - steering to avoid the steering effort from becoming heavy. After confirming that the steering column position is in the neutral position, tighten the universal joint assembly - steering.
- Always place the tilt lever to the lock position after the steering column is adjusted.
- Install the under cover - front. < Ref. to INSTALLATION , Front Under Cover. >
- Install the front wheels.
Tightening torque:
120 N.m (12.2 kgf-m, 88.5 ft-lb)
- Inspect the wheel alignment and adjust if necessary. < Ref. to
ADJUSTMENT , Wheel Alignment. >CAUTION: When the wheel alignment has been adjusted, perform the following adjustment.
- Lane keep assist learning value clear (model with EyeSight): < Ref. to OPERATION , Clear Active Lane Keep System Learning Value. >
