Air Intake Boot: Installation

2016 Subaru Legacy 2.5iSECTION Installation
  1. Install the air intake boot, and connect the PCV hose.
  2. Tighten the clamp (C) securing the throttle body to the air intake boot.

    Tightening torque:Β 

    3 N.m (0.3 kgf-m, 2.2 ft-lb)Β 

  3. Tighten the clamp (B) securing the air cleaner case (rear) to the air intake boot.

    Tightening torque:Β 

    3 N.m (0.3 kgf-m, 2.2 ft-lb)Β 

  4. Install the clip (A) to the air intake boot.
