Headlamp Levelling Actuator Replacement (Halogen): Removal
2010 Saab 9-5SECTION Removal
- Remove the front bumper fascia. Refer to FRONT BUMPER FASCIA REPLACEMENT .
- Remove the headlamp. Refer to HEADLAMP REPLACEMENTΒ .
- Remove the headlamp bulb low beam. Refer to HEADLAMP BULB REPLACEMENT (XENON - LEFT SIDE)Β , HEADLAMP BULB REPLACEMENT (XENON - RIGHT SIDE)Β , HEADLAMP BULB REPLACEMENT (HIGH BEAM)Β or HEADLAMP BULB REPLACEMENT (LOW BEAM)Β .
- Remove the headlamp bulb dust covers.
- Rotate the adjuster (horizontal/vertical) with a 6 mm Allen key (5) clockwise to the block.
- Rotate the headlamp levelling actuator with a screwdriver (6) clockwise at 60Β° (headlamp left side; headlamp right side anticlockwise).
- Move the headlamp levelling actuator in upper direction, until the headlamp range adjuster is detached from the reflector.
- Remove the headlamp levelling actuator through the dipped beam opening (8) and disconnect the electrical connector.
