Microphone Removal/Installation

2010 Mazda 5 Sport, 2.3 L, StandardSECTION Microphone Removal/Installation

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the following parts:
    1. Side wall (See SIDE WALL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    2. Front console (See FRONT CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    3. Center panel module (with audio unit) (See CENTER PANEL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATIONΒ .)
    4. Center panel (without audio unit) (See CENTER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    5. Climate control unit (with car-navigation system) (See CLIMATE CONTROL UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [FULL-AUTO AIR CONDITIONER] .)
    6. Car-navigation unit (with car-navigation system) (See CAR-NAVIGATION UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATIONΒ .)
    7. Dashboard center panel (See DASHBOARD CENTER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Remove the microphone.
  4. Install in the reverse order of removal.
