Signal Circuit Inspection

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe GLS, 2.7 D, AWDSECTION Signal Circuit Inspection

  1. Check for short to ground in harness
    1. Ignition "OFF"
    2. Disconnect TPS connector.
    3. Measure resistance between terminal 3 of the TPS harness connector and chassis ground.

      Specification : Infinity

    4. Is the measured resistance within specifications?

      Yes 

      • Go to next step .

      NO 

  2. Check for open in harness
    1. Ignition "OFF"
    2. Disconnect TPS connector and PCM connector.
    3. Measure resistance between terminals 2 of the TPS harness connector and 11/C121-C of the PCM harness connector.

      Specification : Approx. Below 1Ω

    4. Is the measured resistance within specifications?

      Yes 

      NO
