DTC 2608: R-Camera Diag
- Check the vehicle battery condition first (see BATTERY TEST ).
- These DTCs set when a communication error between the rearview camera and the navigation display (open or short) is detected.
- Before you troubleshoot, make sure to follow the general troubleshooting information (see GENERAL TROUBLESHOOTING INFORMATION -('10 MODEL) ).
- Clear the hard error code (see HOW TO CLEAR ERROR HISTORY ).
- Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0) and then back to ON (II).
- Go into the Diagnostic Menu, and select the Self-Diagnosis Mode in the Select Diagnosis Items menu (see SYSTEM DIAGNOSTIC MODE - ('10 MODEL) ).
- Check the System Links.
Is the R-camera icon red?
YES -Go to step 5.
NO -Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.
- Check for poor connections or loose terminals at rearview camera 6P connector.
- Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).
- Disconnect rearview camera 6P connector.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
- Measure the voltage between rearview camera 6P connector terminals No. 6 and body ground.

Is there voltage about 3.0 V?
YES -Replace the rearview camera (see REARVIEW CAMERA REMOVAL/INSTALLATION - ('10 MODEL) ).
NO -Go to step 10.

Is there voltage about 3.0 V?
YES -Repair an open in the wire between the audio-navigation unit and rearview camera.
NO -Replace the audio-navigation unit (see AUDIO-NAVIGATION UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION - ('10 MODEL) ).
Are the connections OK?
YES -Go to step 6.
NO -Repair poor connections or loose terminals.
