NOTE: For connector terminal identification, refer to CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION  . For wiring diagrams, see WIRING DIAGRAMS  .
  1. If parking brake is not fully released, release parking brake. Perform VER-1A  . If parking brake is fully released, go to next step.
  2. Check brake fluid level. If brake fluid level is low, check brake system for leaks. Add fluid as necessary. Perform VER-1A  . If brake fluid level is okay, go to next step.
  3. Disconnect differential pressure switch connector (Delta "P" switch connector). See Figure . If Red BRAKE warning light is still on, go to TEST 15B  . If Red BRAKE warning light is not on, go to next step.
  4. Bleed brake system. See BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEM. Reconnect Delta "P" switch connector. Turn ignition on. Pump brake pedal several times. If Red BRAKE warning light is on, go to next step. If Red BRAKE warning light is off, system is operating properly. Perform VER-1A  .
  5. Replace Delta "P" switch. Perform VER-1A  . Turn ignition on. Pump brake pedal several times. If Red BRAKE warning light is off, repair is complete. Perform VER-1A  . If Red BRAKE warning light is still on, problem is in hydraulic brake system. Reinstall original Delta "P" switch. Repair hydraulic brake system as necessary. Perform VER-1A  .
