Install complete drive unit
Check
When replacing a bearing bracket, the bores on the support bearing, bearing bracket and screw point must be aligned to ensure that the screw connection is correct. Align the support bearing and bearing bracket at the screw point with a suitable tool (e.g. a drill with a shaft diameter of 11 mm) before screwing together.
- Check the support bearings (4) for damage on the left and right.
Result
» Support bearing is damaged.
Measure
- Replace the support bearing.

When to See a Mechanic
Stop DIY work and contact a certified mechanic immediately if any of the following apply:
- • You smell fuel, burning insulation, or see smoke.
- • Brakes feel soft, pull hard to one side, or make grinding noises.
- • The engine overheats, stalls repeatedly, or misfires under load.
- • You are missing required tools, torque specs, or safe lifting equipment.
- • You are not confident in the next step or safety outcome.
