Install Rear Cross-Member
2021 BMW i3 Range ExtenderSECTION Install Rear Cross-Member
- Position the cross-member in the rear (4) on the vehicle.
- Position the screws (3) on the left and right.
- Position the screws (2) of the convenience charging electronics (KLE).
- Renew screws.

TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
Cross-member to Drive module M10
Replace screwsJoining torque 56 Nm Angle of rotation 90° - Tighten the bolts (2)
for the convenience charging electronics (KLE).
TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
Convenience charging electronics (KLE) to cross-member and Drive module M8 19 Nm - Tighten screws (3)
on the left and right.
TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
Rear cross-member to Drive module M10 Tightening torque 56 Nm
