NOTE:
A change of camber always involves a change of toe. Adjust camber first. See REAR (E65) under CAMBER ADJUSTMENT.
- Replace nut (1). Ensure eccentric washer (2) is correctly located. See Fig 1. Tighten nut (1) to specification. See E65 under TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS.
- Release nut (1) again by 1/2 to 1 turn.
- Adjust toe with eccentric screw (3) precisely to specification. See E65 under WHEEL ALIGNMENT SPECIFICATIONS.
- Ensure eccentric washer is correctly located (2). See Fig 1. Tighten nut (1) to specification. See E65 under TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS.
CAUTION:
If the nut is tightened down more than 10 times during adjustment, it must be replaced again. The self-locking effect becomes too slight.
