DESCRIPTION:

If aftermarket electrical accessories are installed it is very important that the accessories ground connection is connected after the BMS (battery monitoring sensor) and NOT at the battery negative post.

If the negative post at the battery is used as ground connection before the BMS for the accessories there is a risk that the BMS will give incorrect values to the alternator and the alternator charging may be reduced as a result.

Suggestions for alternative ground connections.

P3x platform: Ground connection: 31/AL

P1x platform: Ground connection: 31/110, 31/112, 31/114

Please refer to the appropriate wiring diagram for the locations of these connections.

Ground screw part number: 999231
RENDER: 1.0x
