Checking The Cable And Component
Check the leads for video signals between the TV-receiver and rear seat entertainment module (RSE) for short-circuiting to voltage, short-circuiting to ground, and open circuit. There are two video leads for each screen. Regards the cables from rear seat entertainment module (RSE), terminals #E10 and #E11 for left screen as well as terminals #E22 and #E23 for right screen.

Take measurements for the screen that is not communicating.
Check the lead for the wake-up signal from rear seat entertainment module (RSE)/DVD-player to screens, #E2 (left screen) and #E14 (right screen), for short-circuiting to ground and open circuit.
Check the connector for rear seat entertainment module (RSE)/DVD-player as well as screens for loose contact, contact resistance and oxidation.
HINT: If a screen is not working, try switching places between the screens/head restraints. If the malfunction remains, this indicates a malfunction either in the leads between the screen's circuit board and the display itself or in the display itself.
Remedy as necessary.
