- Ignition on.
Depress the brake pedal. Move the gear shift selector to the different positions. Check that the gear position indicator LED in the gear selector assembly panel displays the selected gear position.
Replace the printed circuit board in the gear selector assembly if the gear position indicator LED does not display the selected gear.
