Key interlock cable, initial setting and adjustment
Key interlock cable, initial setting and adjustment
Turn the ignition key to position 0.
Move the gear shift lever to position P.
Position a 5 mm drill bit in the housing above the yellow locking sleeve. This is to get the lever into the secured position.
Install a new locking sleeve in position (1) as illustrated.
Install the cable on the housing and on the threaded end in the groove on the yellow locking sleeve.
Press the locking sleeve in to position (2) as illustrated so that it locks the cable.
Check
Check that the key cannot be removed when the gear selector is in any other position than P.
