Condition
The diagnostic trouble code is generated if the rear electronic module (REM) registers a low signal on the relay coil.
The diagnostic trouble code can be diagnosed when the relay is not activated.
Substitute value
- Nothing.
Possible source
- Damaged relay, open circuit or short circuit to ground in relay coil.
- The relay is loose or missing
- Oxidation on the relay base switches.
Fault symptom[s]
- Engine does not run on gas.
- Switching to gas operation causes engine breakdown.
