Condition
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ABS-0070 is stored if the control module registers that the pump motor operates continuously, does not start or if the signal is missing.
Substitute value
- ABS system is blocked.
- Anti-spin function is blocked.
Possible source
- Contact resistance in terminals.
- Fuse 4 defective.
- Loose pump motor connector.
- Open-circuit in power supply to pump motor.
- Open-circuit in pump motor ground lead.
- Open-circuit in power supply (30-supply) to control module #25 for pump motor (cars equipped with DSTC #47).
- Defective pump motor.
- Internal fault in control module.
Fault symptom[s]
- ABS warning lamp lit.
- Anti-spin warning lamp lit.
- No ABS function.
- Anti-spin does not function.
