Condition
The control modules communicate with each other in a network via a standardized serial communication procedure - CAN (Controller Area Network) - to exchange information. Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ECM-A00B is stored if the engine control module (ECM) registers a fault in the communication with the transmission control module (TCM).
