Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) CEM-2E01 is stored if the control module registers that the signal in one or more of the four outputs is too high, too low, or missing when the ignition is in position II or when the engine speed is higher than 500 rpm.

- Short-circuit to supply voltage, to ground or open-circuit in one or more of the four outputs.
