Note! The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) applies only to ABS systems equipped with dynamic stability and traction control (DSTC).

Brake pressure sensors 1 and 2 provide a signal with the brake system pressure to the brake control module (BCM). Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) BCM-0136 is stored if the control module registers that the signal from any of the pressure sensors is outside its permitted range.

- Traction control is blocked
- Stability control is blocked
- Active yaw control is blocked.

Possible source
- Open-circuit in the ground lead
- Fault in the brake circuit
- Defective pressure sensor.

Fault symptom[s]
- The anti-spin warning lamp is lit (up to and including 2002 model year)
- General yellow warning lamp lit (from model year 2003 inclusive)
- Anti-spin does not function
- The stability control system does not function
- The traction control system does not function.
