Check the transmission control module (TCM) and transmission connectors. Check for contact resistance and oxidation according to Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring and Terminals. Intermittent Faults.
Check the cables between control module terminal #A52 (#A52) and transmission connector terminal #D3. Check the cables between control module terminal #B10 (#A70) and transmission connector terminal #D4. Check for an intermittent open-circuit according to Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring and Terminals. Intermittent Faults.
Hint: Check solenoid SLT. Measure the resistance between terminals #D3 and #D4 on transmission connector A. The resistance should be 5-6 ohms at 20°C.
Remedy as necessary.
