Condition
- The steering wheel angle sensor has two circuits each with 4 LEDs and 4 receptors which read off their individual code wheel. One circuit measures the steering wheel angle and the other measures steering wheel revolutions. If the steering wheel angle sensor (SAS) control unit registers a faulty steering wheel angle signal from the steering wheel angle sensor, diagnostic trouble code SAS-0020 is set.
