Condition
Motor 1 controls the seat front-rear adjustment. Motor 1 must be activated before the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be detected. Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) PSM-0031 is stored if the motor 1 does not run despite M1- being activated and the power seat module registering +12 V on the M1- signal cable.
Possible source
- Open-circuit in signal cable M1-.
- Blown fuse (11C/4).
Fault symptom[s]
- Seat front-rear adjustment does not operate.
