Attempt to move the seat to memory position 1.
Does the memory function correctly?

Check whether the signal from the control panel is received by the power seat module (PSM).
To read off the input signal to the power seat module (PSM) for memory button 1, select Mem 1 from the menu.
Read off the value.
Hint: When checking the control panel, check if the resistance between terminal #6C and the terminal pin is 0 ohms.

Replace the control panel according to Side panel, replacing Side Panel Front Seat, Replacing.

Checking the memory in the power seat module (PSM)
The power seat module (PSM) has detected a fault in the memory. Try programming in a new seat position. If this does not work, the actual seat position can be compared with the programmed seat position.
As soon as the memory has been programmed the actual value should be the same as the programmed value.

Replace the power seat module (PSM) according to Power seat module (PSM), replacing Service and Repair.
