Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information

If no fault is detected in the leak diagnostic unit, the control module runs a leak diagnostic of the fuel tank system. If the control module detects a leakage that is 1 mm or larger after refueling, the control module interprets this as the fuel tank filler cap missing or loosely installed. Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ECM-4338 is then stored. For more information about the leak diagnostics, see Leak diagnostics (certain markets only) Leak Diagnostics (Certain Markets Only).
