Checking connectors and wiring
Check the signal cable between knock sensor (KS) terminal #3 and control module terminal #A45 (#A45). Check the ground lead between knock sensor (KS) terminal #4 and control module terminal #A67 (#B7). Check for an intermittent short-circuit to supply voltage.
Check that the knock sensor (KS) is tightened to the correct torque.
Hint: The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) may be caused by a worn engine. Start the engine and listen for noise.
