- Ignition off
- Reconnect the connections, components etc.
- Disconnect Volvo System Tester so that the diagnosis is aborted.WARNING:
The ABS and EBD systems are not available while Volvo Diagnostics is activated. Take great care when test driving as there is a serious risk of the wheels locking when braking.
- Test drive the vehicle as per Test driving .
- Stop the vehicle.
Note the DTC status.

When to See a Mechanic
Stop DIY work and contact a certified mechanic immediately if any of the following apply:

- • Brakes feel soft, pull hard to one side, or make grinding noises.
- • The engine overheats, stalls repeatedly, or misfires under load.
- • You are missing required tools, torque specs, or safe lifting equipment.
- • You are not confident in the next step or safety outcome.
