Transport Mode, deactivating

2002 Volkswagen Passat GLX 4Motion, 4D SedanSECTION Transport Mode, deactivating

Vehicles arrive at Dealerships with the Telematic system in Transport Mode. This limits battery power drain during transport and storage.

Transport Mode must be deactivated using an OBD program function before delivery to the customer.

Deactivate Telematics Transport Mode and enable Telematics function by using VAS 5051 Vehicle Diagnostic Testing and Information System or VAS 5052 Vehicle Testing and Service System in operating mode "Vehicle Self Diagnosis".
