General information
The optional CD changer unit is located in the left side of the luggage compartment behind the removable access panel.
The in-dash CD Player is used in conjunction with "Premium V" (single DIN) radio systems from 08.99 through m.y. 2001 only (and also in conjunction with CD Changer).
Wiring from the radio unit to both CD devices is pre-wired in production where applicable.
Switching functions between the CD Player and CD Changer are done manually on the CD Player.
In the event both CD devices are installed, the CD Player cable attaches to the radio and the CD Changer cable attaches to the CD Player.
Before troubleshooting or servicing, technicians must be familiar with the functions and operation specifics of the applicable radio system and installed CD device. Always read the radio owner's manual and review all radio and CD Changer/Player functions.
