SHIM THICKNESS (DRIVE PINION PRELOAD)

- Determine shim from table and install on drive shaft. Table of shims, see ADJUSTMENTS, AFTER COMPONENT REPLACEMENT .
- Insert axial needle bearing and tighten fastener including dished washer to 250 N.m (184 ft lb).NOTE: Insert axial needle bearing for input shaft before tightening fastener. Installation position, see INPUT GEAR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
