Inspection Procedure
- INSPECT SKID CONTROL ECU (POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT OF SKID CONTROL ECU)
- Check the power source circuit of the skid control ECU (See
DTC C1241/41 LOW BATTERY POSITIVE VOLTAGE; DTC C1242/42 OPEN IN IG1 / IG2 POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT
HINT:
According to the power source circuit inspection of the brake control system.
OK: The skid control ECU power source circuit is normal.
NG: REPAIR POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT (ACCORDING TO POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT TROUBLESHOOTING)
OK: Go to Next Step
- Check the power source circuit of the skid control ECU (See
DTC C1241/41 LOW BATTERY POSITIVE VOLTAGE; DTC C1242/42 OPEN IN IG1 / IG2 POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT
- CHECK COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY
- Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.
- Start the engine and turn the intelligent tester main switch on.
- Select the "ACTIVE TEST" mode on the intelligent tester (See DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST ).
- Check that the multi-information display is "ON" or "OFF" when using the intelligent tester.

When to See a Mechanic
