2004 Toyota Matrix XR, FWD, StandardSECTION Diagnostic Trouble Code Chart

NOTE:
  • When removing the part, turn the ignition switch OFF.
  • When replacing yaw rate sensors and/or the brake actuator assembly (skid control ECU), make sure to perform yaw rate sensor zero point calibration (see PRE-CHECK  ).

HINT:

  • Using SST 09843-18040, connect terminals TC and CG.
  • If any abnormality is not found when inspecting parts, inspect the ECU.
  • If a malfunction code is displayed during the DTC check, check the circuit listed for that code.

HINT:

In some cases, the hand-held tester cannot be used when the VSC warning light is always on.
