  1. Using special tool (09843-18040), connect terminals Tc and CG of DLC3. See Fig 1.
  2. Turn the ignition switch ON. Read the DTC from the ABS warning light and the VSC warning light blinking patterns on the combination meter. For the blinking patterns for normal and codes 11 and 21 see Fig 2.
  3. For diagnostic trouble code definitions see DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE DEFINITIONSΒ .
  4. If 2 or more malfunctions are indicated at the same time the lowest numbered DTC will be displayed first.
  5. If a code does not appear, inspect the ABS warning light circuit and VSC warning light circuit. See SYSTEM TESTINGΒ .
