Trunk Lid Lock Assembly Removal and Installation (Sedan): Removal

2013 Suzuki SX4 Crossover, Automatic CVT TransSECTION Removal

  1. Remove trunk lid trim (1) from trunk lid panel (if equipped).

  2. Disconnect trunk lid latch control rod (1) from trunk lid.
  3. (Keyless start model)

    Disconnect trunk lid latch actuator coupler (3).

  4. (Keyless start model)

    Remove trunk lid latch actuator (2) from trunk lid.

  5. (Non-keyless start model)

    Remove trunk lid lock cylinder (1) from trunk lid.

  6. Remove trunk lid latch bolt (1), and then disconnect trunk lid opener wire (2) from trunk lid latch (4).
  7. Remove trunk lid latch (4) with trunk lid latch control rod (3).
