Ignition Spark Test

WARNING:
Be sure to disconnect injector connectors. Without disconnection of injector connectors, combustible gas may come out from spark plug holes during this test and may get ignited in engine compartment.
- Remove spark plug, see Spark Plug Removal and InstallationΒ .
- Inspect spark plug, see SPARK PLUG INSPECTIONΒ .
- Disconnect all injector connector.
- Connect ignition coil connector (1) to ignition coil assembly (3).
- Connect spark plug (2) to ignition coil assembly, and ground spark plug.
- Crank engine and check whether spark plug sparks.
- Check all spark plugs in the same manner. If any spark plug does not spark, check ignition system, see Ignition System CheckΒ .
