2001 Suzuki Grand Vitara JLS, StandardSECTION Transmission Range Switch Circuit Check (A/T)
NOTE: Transmission Range (TR) switch may also be referred to as Park/Neutral Position (PNP) switch or shift switch.

If continuity is as specified, circuit is okay. If continuity is not as specified, go to next step.
  2. Check for poor connection, open or short in Black/Red wire between Transmission Range (TR) switch and CC ECU. Check for poor connection, open or short in Black/Yellow wire between TR switch and starter. See WIRING DIAGRAMSΒ  . Repair as necessary.
