NOTE:
Transmission Range (TR) switch may also be referred to as Park/Neutral Position (PNP) switch or shift switch.
- Apply parking brake. Place shift lever in Neutral. Transmission Range (TR) switch is located on top of transaxle just below shift cable. See Figure .
- Loosen TR switch retaining bolts. Rotate shift switch so neutral reference line aligns with center line on manual valve shaft. See Fig 1 . Tighten TR switch retaining bolts to 15 ft. lbs. (20 N.m). Ensure engine starts only with shift lever in Park and Neutral.
