Transmission Assembly: Installation
The hybrid system includes a high voltage circuit. Mishandling could cause accidents such as electric shock or leak. Always check "WARNING (HYBRID SYSTEM)" and perform the proper operation. Ref. to Β PRECAUTION/WARNING>WARNING (HYBRID SYSTEM)Β .Β
- Replace with a new differential side retainer oil seal. Ref. to CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (TH2A)>DIFFERENTIAL SIDE RETAINER OIL SEAL>REPLACEMENTΒ .
- Install the bracket - power cable.
Tightening torque:Β
7.5 N.m (0.8 kgf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)
- Install the transmission case cover (upper) and transmission case cover (lower).
Tightening torque:Β
8 N.m (0.8 kgf-m, 5.9 ft-lb)
- Attach the bracket.
Tightening torque:Β
8 N.m (0.8 kgf-m, 5.9 ft-lb)
- Install the rear cushion rubber.
Tightening torque:Β
40 N.m (4.1 kgf-m, 29.5 ft-lb)
- Place the transmission body on the transmission jack.CAUTION:
Make sure that the support plates of transmission jack do not touch the oil pan.Β
