Secondary Speed Sensor: Installation

CAUTION:

If water or oil contacts the connector terminal of secondary speed sensor, replace it with a new part.Β 

  1. Install the secondary speed sensor and the spacer using a new O-ring, and connect the connector.
    NOTE:

    Apply CVTF to the O-rings.Β 

    Tightening torque:Β 

    7 N.m (0.7 kgf-m, 5.2 ft-lb)

  2. Install the front exhaust pipe. Ref. to EXHAUST (H4DO (EXCEPT FOR HEV))>FRONT EXHAUST PIPE>INSTALLATION .
  3. Connect the ground terminal to battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  4. Check the CVTF level. Ref. to CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (TR580 CROSSTREK)>CVTF>INSPECTIONΒ .
