Control Valve Body: Removal

2022 Subaru Impreza Base, 4D Sedan, Automatic CVT TransSECTION Removal

NOTE:

The control valve body is a non-disassembly part.Β 

  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  2. Remove the TCM. Ref. to CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION(TR580 CROSSTREK)>TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE (TCM)>REMOVALΒ 
  3. Disconnect the transmission harness connector from the engine wiring harness.

  4. Remove the air breather hose stay.

  5. Remove the clips securing the transmission harness.

  6. Clean the valve cover vicinity.
    CAUTION:

    Make sure that foreign matter does not get into the throttle body and connector terminals.Β
