Keyless Access Control Module: Removal

2022 Subaru Impreza Base, 4D Sedan, Automatic CVT TransSECTION Removal
  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery sensor. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
    NOTE:

    For the hybrid model, disconnect the battery negative terminal.Β 

  2. Remove the pocket assembly and the back panel - pocket. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>GLOVE BOX>REMOVAL .
  3. Remove the keyless access control module.
    CAUTION:

    Be careful to keep water and other foreign materials away from the keyless access control module terminals.Β 

    1. Disconnect the connector.
    2. Release the claws using a flat tip screwdriver or similar tool wrapped with protection tape.
    3. Release the guides and pull out the keyless access control module.
