Gateway Control Module: Removal

2022 Subaru Impreza Base, 4D Sedan, Automatic CVT TransSECTION Removal
  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from battery. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
  2. Release the lock, tilt the steering column to the lowest end and fully extend the column by the telescopic system.
  3. Remove the grille assembly - CTR ventilation LH. Ref. to AIR CONDITIONER (EXCEPT FOR HEV)>AIR VENT GRILLE>REMOVAL>CENTER GRILLE ASSEMBLY .
  4. Remove the combination meter assembly. Ref. to INSTRUMENTATION/DRIVER INFO>COMBINATION METER> REMOVAL .
  5. Detach the screws and remove the reinforcement - combination meter.

  6. Remove the central gateway control module.
    CAUTION:

    Be careful to keep water and other foreign materials away from the central gateway control module terminals.Β 

    1. Disconnect the connector.
    2. Release the claws and remove the central gateway control module.
