Gateway Control Module: Removal
2022 Subaru Impreza Base, 4D Sedan, Automatic CVT TransSECTION Removal
- Disconnect the ground terminal from battery. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
- Release the lock, tilt the steering column to the lowest end and fully extend the column by the telescopic system.
- Remove the grille assembly - CTR ventilation LH. Ref. to AIR CONDITIONER (EXCEPT FOR HEV)>AIR VENT GRILLE>REMOVAL>CENTER GRILLE ASSEMBLY .
- Remove the combination meter assembly. Ref. to INSTRUMENTATION/DRIVER INFO>COMBINATION METER> REMOVAL .
- Detach the screws and remove the reinforcement - combination meter.
- Remove the central gateway control module.CAUTION:
Be careful to keep water and other foreign materials away from the central gateway control module terminals.Β
- Disconnect the connector.
- Release the claws and remove the central gateway control module.
