Lock Assembly

2022 Subaru Impreza Base, 4D Sedan, Automatic CVT TransSECTION Lock Assembly
  1. Disconnect the ground terminal from the battery sensor, and wait for at least 60 seconds before starting work. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
    NOTE:

    For the hybrid model, disconnect the battery negative terminal.Β 

  2. Remove the air intake duct. Ref. to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (H4DO (EXCEPT FOR HEV))>AIR INTAKE DUCT>REMOVAL .
  3. Remove the cover UPR - front.
    1. Remove the clips, and remove the cover UPR - front.

  4. Remove the lock assembly - front hood.
    1. Disconnect the connector and the clip.
    2. Remove the cable - front hood (a) and the cable - safety (b).

    3. Remove the bolts and clips, and remove the lock assembly - front hood.
