- Disconnect the ground terminal from the battery sensor, and wait for at least 60 seconds before starting work. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY
.NOTE:
For the hybrid model, disconnect the battery negative terminal.
- Remove the trim panel - front door. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>DOOR TRIM>REMOVAL>FRONT DOOR .
- Remove the remote assembly - front door.
- Remove the screws.
- Release the claws and guides, and remove the remote assembly - front door.
