Camera Initialization

2014 Subaru Forester 2.5i, Eng CD FB25BA, Standard TransSECTION Camera Initialization

This is a recovery measures prepared for the data failure caused by the low battery voltage during data storage to inside the stereo camera.

CAUTION: Do not usually perform camera initialization because it will clear the aiming data and/or DTCs.

Perform the camera initialization only when the aiming result is NG even if the vehicle is placed correctly in the flowchart described in "A: Procedure".

  1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
  2. Wait for 10 seconds.
  3. On Main Menu display, select {Each System Check}.
  4. On «System Selection Menu», select {ADA adaptive cruise control system}.
  5. Select «EyeSight (from 2009MY)».
  6. Select {Clear Memory} while pressing the camera cover mounted pre-collision brake OFF switch and lane departure warning OFF switch at the same time.
  7. Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
  8. Wait for 5 seconds.
