Fwd Axle Shaft: Reassembly

1995 Saab 9000 CS, AutomaticSECTION Reassembly

To reassemble axle shaft, reverse disassembly procedure. Press inboard joint spider onto shaft using a 27-mm socket (if necessary). Ensure 45-degree bevel on spider is toward shaft. Pack about 2 ozs. (60 grams) of grease into inboard joint, and about 2.8 ozs. (80 grams) grease into outboard joint when assembling. Ensure all snap rings are fully seated and secure.
