- Remove the fuel fill cap.
- Install the J 42960-2Β into the fuel fill pipe in order to hold the door open. See Special ToolsΒ .
- Insert the J 45004Β into the fuel tank until the hose reaches the bottom of the fuel tank. See Special ToolsΒ .
- Use a hand or air operated pump device in order to drain as much fuel through the fuel fill pipe as possible.
IMPORTANT:
Lubricate the fuel drain hose with J 36850Β
or equivalent to aid in hose insertion. See Special ToolsΒ . Do not use an unapproved lubricant.
