Preliminary Procedures

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and ConnectionΒ .
  2. Remove the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement or Drive Belt Replacement .
1 Connector, Engine Harness Generator
2 Boot, Engine Harness Ground Terminal
3 Nut, Engine Harness Ground Terminal

Tighten:Β  20 N.m (15 lb ft)

4 Terminal, Engine Harness Ground
5 Bolt, Generator (Qty: 3)

Tighten:Β  22 N.m (16 lb ft)

6 Generator
