Air Bag Control Module (ACM): Installation

- Install ACM with arrow pointing toward front of vehicle. Engage module into clip on instrument panel bracket. Install new module screws, and tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS TABLE at the end of this article. Only use screws supplied with new ACM. Connect electrical connectors.
- To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. DO NOT connect negative battery cable at this time. Perform system operation check to ensure system is functioning properly. See SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK.
